How Ventless Mini-Split Systems Work
A ventless split system air conditioner consits of three main components:
- Outdoor Unit - compressor, vent fan and condenser coils
- Conduit - connects electrical cables and refrigerant lines
- Indoor Unit - evaporator coils and blower work together releasing cool air inside house
A/C split inverter systems provide fast cooling to reach the desired temperature and keeps room temperature steady with minimal fluctuation. Air from the room is drawn into the indoor air handler cooling the air significantly. Inverter air conditioners run with eco-friendly R-410a refrigerant gas to transfer heat between indoors and outdoors and have a high SEER efficiency rating to reduce energy consumption.
The unit can be set via remote control to maintain a desired temperature and automatically shut off after a period of time reducing the constant starts and stops of regular air conditioning systems. Ductless air conditioners, also known as mini-split air conditioners, are ideal for multi-zone cooling of homes with extra rooms or small apartments. The outdoor and indoor units are connected via thin pipes eliminating the need of expensive and time-consuming duct work.
